Who writes our content

Content is produced by the Best C Serum editorial team. We are not dermatologists or doctors. Where an article is written or reviewed by a named, qualified professional, the article will say so with their name and credentials; otherwise it has not had medical review.

Medical review

At present, guides and product pages on this site are not reviewed by a dermatologist. We do not use phrases such as "dermatologist reviewed" or "dermatologist rating" unless a named, qualified dermatologist has actually reviewed that specific content. If we add medical reviewers, each reviewed page will show the reviewer's full name, qualifications and the review date.

Sources we rely on

• For skin science: peer-reviewed research and dermatology reviews, such as those indexed on PubMed.
• For product facts (ingredients, size, concentration): official brand pages and packaging information.
• For prices and customer ratings: named retailer or brand pages, recorded with the date checked.
• For news: the original announcement or reputable trade and consumer press, linked from each article.

We do not cite anonymous blogs as scientific evidence, and we do not invent studies, statistics, experts or reviews.

Use of AI assistance

Some news summaries are drafted with AI assistance from source reporting, then rewritten in original wording and checked against the linked source before publishing. These articles are labelled as AI-assisted and link to the original. AI-assisted content never claims expert or medical review.
